Import ONUs from Excel for Maps Version 2
This option allows you to import ONUs from a CSV file (Comma Separated Values) with the following columns.
- Chassis: Chassis number where the ONU is assigned *
- Slot: Slot number where the ONU is assigned *
- Port: Port number where the ONU is assigned *
- Name: Name assigned to the ONU (Must be unique) *
- SN: ONU serial number *
- Model: ONU model *
- Zone: Zone to which the ONU belongs. (Must select existing zones in AdminOLT and write them exactly as they appear in the system) *
- NAP: NAP to which the ONU belongs. (Must select existing naps in AdminOLT and write them exactly as they appear in the system) *
- Mode: Routing or Bridging
- VLAN: VLAN used by the ONU
- Comments: Comments that can be added to the ONU
- Latitude: Latitude of the ONU location (Not more than 20 characters, number between -90/90)
- Longitude: Longitude of the ONU location (Not more than 20 characters, number between -180/180)
- Authorization Date: Date in which it was authorized with format (dd/mm/YYYY) preferably *
- Upload: Upload speed plan (Existing in AdminOLT) *
- Download: Download speed plan (Existing in AdminOLT) *
1As a first step, you must create a CSV file with the previously mentioned columns, or you can use the CSV format found at the following link https://adminolt.com/onu/list/authorized/.
Save the file as CSV.
2Go to the section “Import ONUs from Excel to AdminOLT” from System in the Panel and upload the CSV file. Go to:
System | Maps | Import ONUs from Excel to AdminOLT
3After uploading the file, a preview of the data will be shown, you can select one or all to import them.
5We view the new information.
Pre-Authorize ONUs
1You can also Pre-Authorize ONUs from AdminOLT without associating them to an OLT for use in the Maps section. Go to:
ONU | Pre-authorize ONU
2A form will be displayed that you simply need to fill out. First, choose "NO" in "Create in OLT?" so you can register the ONU.
3Once you have completed the form, click on "Authorize". You will be redirected to the list of ONUs where you can view the data of the ONU you entered in the form.
